Why I Wrote The Garden of Growing Brave

This story grew from a hard season—walking beside my son through medical trauma as he searched for courage when the world suddenly felt too big.

Like so many families, we faced fear, uncertainty, and overwhelming moments. That experience opened my eyes to how many families are searching for tools to help them.

So I created the story I wish we had then, and a gentle reminder for children that even on the hardest days, their brave light is always within them.
